Melia – Office Manager
I have grown up in the world of dentistry, as my father was a dentist. Our dental office feels like home to me. When at my “other” home, life is crazy with my wrestling coach husband and six kids! My first child will be graduating in 2010, but we stay very busy with soccer, volleyball, football, track and wrestling, wrestling, wrestling : ) In my spare time (ha ha) I love to read, go to the movies, and eat out! Occasionally, I’ve been known to rock climb, ski & drive anything fast.
Kelli – Financial Coordinator
Move over Martha Stewart, I’m the domestic queen in a business suit! My dental experience spans over 11 years, which includes consulting in other dental practices, and the management of all office duties. When not in the office, I am either scrap booking, gardening, or being a soccer mom to our 9-year-old daughter, Madison. I enjoy volunteering at her school and going on school field trips too. Our family spends its summers camping, boating and riding quads.
Margo – Dental Hygienist
I am a lifelong Vancouverite and am just as passionate about my dental hygiene career today, as I was when I started 34 years ago! My two daughters have given me a grandson each. What a joy they are! I love the outdoors and spend my summers camping and golfing. My time is filled with family and friends.
Shaun – Dental Hygienist
I have lived in Clark County all my life. I love this area and all the green rain brings to us. I have been a hygienist for 17 years. I graduated from Clark College Dental Hygiene program. I just completed my Bachelor in Dental Hygiene with an emphasis on oral protocol for cancer patients. I am currently working on a Masters in Education and Administration so that I can return to Clark College to teach in the hygiene program. I enjoy working with patients and love getting to know them.
I have been a 4-H superintendent and leader for about 20 years. Working with our future leaders brings a great amount of joy to me. I have three children, twin girls and then a bonus baby. My husband and I are busy keeping up with them. I love to scrapbook, paint, garden, and play with all the animals we have. Life is fun and I look forward to continued service to our community in my personal life and professional life.
Angelica – Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for six years, having worked with multiple doctors and specialties over that time. I just recently joined the family here at Dental Designs. What I love most is to make sure our patients feel just as at home as we do. When not working, I spend my time with family. I have two amazing children! My 15-year-old son is active in sports and youth church. I too am active in church and am part of the worship team. My daughter, age 9, is … well, a total princess. I enjoy singing and have had many opportunities such as auditioning for American Idol and singing at a Trail Blazers game. Go Blazers!
Jordan – Dental Assistant
When I was still a student in the Clark County Skill Center’s Dental Assisting program, I worked alongside Dr. Heppler for 5 weeks on an internship. Now 3 years later my path has led me back to Dental Designs and I am proud to call myself part of the family here. I love my career and my friends frequently make fun of me for how passionate I am about teeth! I like to stay very active so when I’m not out jet skiing or snowboarding, you can find me running, working out and spending time with my identical twin sister.
